EDH jam. Paper feeds up to the first transport roller and stops. There is a humming noise from the rear of the EDH.
Solution
CAUSE: Incorrect drive belt tension.
SOLUTION: Decrease the tension of the two drive belts on the rear of the EDH-3. Please refer to EDH-3 Parts Manual , illustration #7, page 13, items 5 and
17.

Description
Requirements for TWAIN scanning with the Pi4700e.
Solution
TWAIN scanning with the Pi4700e requires system software version 3 (or higher) and also requires the optional HDD (for the controller). Please see bulletin
4796 for the current version. The current NIC firmware, version 6.33a, is also attached to bulletin 4796.
Bulletin 3965 provides instructions for updating the system software using PageScope Light. (The procedure is the same for the Pi5501 and Pi3502.) An
alternate method is shown on page T-8 of the Pi4700e Service Manual .
Notes:
1. Pi4700e system software version 3 (or higher) is not compatible with the Di450 and Di550 copiers.

Solution
CAUSE: Curled originals become caught on the paper take-up assembly.
SOLUTION: Mylar Film may be attached to the areas shown in bulletin 3291 to prevent the originals from being caught on the paper take-up assembly.
